The Warranty Claims That Only Made Sense At The Rolled-Back Mileage
4 vehicles show odometer mileage that decreases between a service visit and the later trade-in appraisal — physically impossible without a rollback. Each was sold certified pre-owned at the rolled-back mileage, and warranty claims worth $8,605.00 combined were filed shortly after, claims that would have been denied outright at the true, pre-rollback mileage (all above the 60,000-mile warranty cap). Only 2 customer IDs — CUST-R01 and CUST-R02 — file all 4 claims, rotating across the 4 "different" vehicles. One other VIN also shows a mileage drop, but from an obvious 999999 keypunch typo down to 45,200 in a single correction with no warranty claim after — a data-entry fix, not a rollback.
